Automobile Accidents

Every year, millions of Americans are injured in automobile accidents.  Causes of these accidents range from a driver’s negligence or recklessness, to a defect in the vehicle or its component parts that renders the vehicle unreasonably dangerous, to faulty repair work by a mechanic, to improperly maintained roads.   Sometimes, more than one of these causes contribute to the accident.  The first step in any automobile accident case, therefore, is determining what causes of the accident are present, and who is responsible.  From there, the question is how much compensation is owed for the injuries caused.
